Somebody should create a QR code reader that is using screenshots and social network integration with Google+ or Facebook. The QR code reader should work pretty much like Amazon Flow works that is loading the book cover, price info and rating in popup rather then going to a full screen experience of the book.
So once it has detected a QR code the reader should open a popup in the camera view where its showing a recent screenshot of the site like google search on both its desktop and mobile.
Social network integration should indicate the rating of the site (likes/+). This can be enriched by integrating comments either about it or from the site itself if its for example a youtube video. It could also recommend similar content depending the site itself and the users context.
Advantage of this approach is that it will be much easier to choose/dismiss certain content since you don’t need to wait anymore for the whole site to load to form an opinion.
Google with its vast repository of data, screenshots and its social network is an ideal candidate to develop that, would probably take them a day to code it;)
